‘My motivation for co-creating Spirit Baby – Healing Womb Grief was born from my own personal journey through years of infertility and miscarriages. It was a painful, confusing, shameful and life-altering time in my life and years later I still grieve the loss of the babies I never had.
I found it difficult at the time to find a place to talk openly about what was happening. Words seemed inadequate to express what I was feeling. I now understand that this is a very common feeling, but at the time, it kept me isolated and shut down and ultimately slowed down my healing process.
As a facilitator of women’s circles for over 18 years, I understand the powerful healing and transformation that comes when we share our truth and are received with unconditional love. I also now understand how inextricably linked our physical and emotional bodies are and that healing needs to happen on all levels.
My wish is for everyone woman to have a safe space to reflect, integrate and heal their personal stories – whatever they are. It is an honour for us to hold this space for you.’
‘Working on Spirit Baby with Kate came out of a deep desire to help other women through this process. I had to do this work mostly on my own, as I could not find neutral outside support. I did find a lot of blame, shame and judgment. It has not been an easy journey. Healing sexual abuse, rape, miscarriage and trauma from my womb has taken me to the depths of my soul. I found my salvation in shamanic practices of death, rebirth and resurrection.
From all my initiations and work with spirit I emerged into a place of acceptance, forgiveness and compassion. I birthed my work as an ascension midwife - Helping people birth who they really are so that their spirit growth is exponential during their time on this planet. Having been through so much of this myself, I am honoured to be able to support other women through this process.'

Our Support Team
Much care and attention is taken to choose women for our support team who are experienced in holding sacred space and are able to bring their own unique gifts to the weekend to share with us all.
At our 2017 retreat we were fortunate to be supported by Sally Horrobin, Sandrine Burton and Caitlin Priday. These women not only ensured the smooth running of all aspects of the retreat with amazing efficiency and open hearts, but they also contributed to the healing and the magic through their music, drumming, yoga and food. We were blessed to have such an incredible team!
